Scot talked about the HL2 mod Insurgency: modern Infantry combat on the show today which after 4 years of development was released, the beta at least. Now i downloaded it and it freezes whenever i load a map if im joining a game or creating one. Has anyone got to play it?

Personally i love it. Its like Red Orchestra done right. Theres some big bugs, like terrible performance outside. But to there credit they patched like 4 days after release which fixed it a little. This isnt a game for everyone, you die one shot(unless its like leg or arm) and theres no crosshair/hud, the way you aim is with iron sights, which are amazing. The game does a good job of spawning you close to the action, but yet your not so close youll get taken down two steps out of spawn. And now since people are learning how to play its getting a lot better. Only like 3-4 maps though.
