The minute I walked in the door I knew that something was wrong. The excitement I had for the weekend quickly dissipated as I crossed the threshold. First let me say that I saw "300" tonight and I thought it was awesome! A good old hack and slash epic. I felt it was both violent but also beautiful. The battle scenes were a bloodthirsty ballet of gore that had my heart pumping and my adrenaline flowing. I have always loved this story and seeing it play out before me in a pseudo historic style was fantastic.
