About Me:

I'm a teacher, aspiring painter, poet (although I hate reading other peoples poems), and I write short-short stories, and am working on a short story now.

I've loved video games since Pitfall on Intellivision which my older sister got from my parents before I can remember. The best day of my non-adult gaming life was getting my NES about two weeks after my 6th birthday (my parents couldn't find one in time for my actual birthday) and playing games like Duck Hunt, Tecmo Bowl, RBI Baseball, and Double Dragon with friends after school everyday thereafter.

River City Ransom, DOA series, Almost all 2D fighters, GTA3 - present, Anything Zelda, all Metroids that weren't FPS', and even though I hate turn based strategies I love Advance Wars on the DS, Dead Rising, Ghost Recon, Oblivion, Wario Wares', Castlevanias', Jetset Radio Future, Mario Karts', Smash Bros', Super Puzzle Fighter 2, Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix, Dark Stalkers', RBI Baseball, Excitebike, Space Channel 5

Almost all except heavy metal (does that still even exist?) and country (but I do like bluegrass, hmmm...)

Favorite TV Shows:

Simpsons, Anime on Adult Swim like Naruto, Blood Plus, Paranoia Agent, Bleach, Samurai Champloo, and Shin Chan, WWE Raw

Favorite Movies:

Kill Bill (I & II), Jackie Brown, Grindhouse, Sin City, Matrix Series, Serial Mom, Greg Araki movies (nowhere is my fav.) and most other movies with dark humor.

Not much here but I'm working on it! (gimme a break, I work full-time and am in grad school)

I've been a listener since April 06 and have loved the show since. It's fun, sometimes random, and unpredictable all while keeping gaming at the forefront. I'm actually one of the fans that loves the randomness. If I wanted something bland and predictable about gaming I'd just listen to another show like major nelson or gaming steve. The realness of shows like AGI, OLR, and VGO is what shows us that gamers have more than just games in common.

Scot, Mayor Young, Jess, et al... Keep up the great work at AGI and good luck at you new location!
