He has rebroke the King Kong record, and it appears to be legit. And he was cocky while doing it. He got just enough to get the record, then he let his time run out so he could make an arrogant comment. Is this really a live photo? Anyway, regardless of the truth, this is kind of an "in your face" to the King of Kong.
