Seems a recent study from the Electronic Entertainment Design and Research Institute has shed some light on some interesting stats on gaming--most interesting (to me anyway) is the fact that M rated games generated the highest software gross sales for consoles in the United States.
All those murder simulators...I'm glad to know they'll keep comming.

I was catching up with my podcast listening for the week, when I heard something interesting on “Achievement Junkie” posted on the 19th of this month (check it out on ITunes). A C-note drop on the current PS3.
R&C Tools of Destruction, Drake's Fortune, Heavenly Sword, Echo Chrome, Pain, InFamous, and KillZone2.
You've brought a disgruntled Sony fan's cash back into the fold. I will definately get a PS3 going into this fall.
For other Sony fans who haven't jumped on the PS3 bandwagon, did the Sony press conference convince you to cough up the cash for the Foreman? As for me, I'm definately a believer.

Wow...
Well, I guess there is no doubt as to whether Nintendo has abandoned the hardcore like myself. Wii Fit?! Dear lord...And let's not forget House of the Dea--er, uh, Umbrella Chronicles or whatever the hell its called. Such innovation.
The Nintendo tri-fecta of Mario, Zelda, and Metroid will carry the Wii and DS to continued sales success (assuming you can find the system) but I'll be spending my $250 bones elsewher
