Rock Band Preorder on Backorder

Well I thought I'd be safe and preorder Rock Band Bundle from Circuit City online back in September. Today I got an email saying it was on backorder with an estimated delivery date of December 12th. The worst part is had they emailed me the day before it came out I could have tried to get one at one of the midnight sales.

Is it true Rock Band Bundle for 360 will have wired guitar but wireless for PS3?

I was looking to preorder the Rock Band Bundle at Gamestop for X Box 360 and it said it had a wired guitar. But the PS3 version has a wireless guitar. I'm just trying to figure out if anyone had heard anything about this. Also are the drums and microphone are wired? If they are then that is 4 USB slots needed but the Xbox only has 3. Does anyone know if this is true?
