This is KurtanionNZ bringing some new from down under, in New Zealand. In a story from the internet blog Kotaku
http://kotaku.com/gaming/psp/the-psp-outsells-the-ds-in-new-zealand-229873.php
It was revealed that the Play Station Portable outsells the Nintendo DS capturing 73 percent of the handheld market in the Island Country, showing that my country still supports Sony, if only just the brand name. This is evident when you walk through town, ride in buses and even just look at your family around you. Finding a Nintendo DS is quite a daunting task while the PSP is quite common where ever you go. Even in my family the number of DS units stands at one while the PSP is upwards of three.
Another interesting piece of information is that New Zealand is the only country where this occurs. Everywhere else the DS is the leading side in the Hand Held battle. I guess this marks New Zealand as a stronghold of Sony support. As a 360 gamer myself, if you even whisper the the very thought of Sony losing it's dominance at any level its greeted with cries of Blasphemy and BS.
So at least there is one country Sony can count on for support, I'll report back later on the gaming scene down under. I hope you enjoyed that, it's my first post.
