If You Were On the Fence about Which Version of Virtua Fighter 5 to Get........

......the good people at Sega just made the choice easier. The Xbox 360 verison of the game will feature a MULTIPLAYER ONLINE VERSUS MODE. I'm sure the 360 attachment rate wasn't lost on Sega, and they made it happen. I think Sega is going sale a bunch of VF5 this fall. Here is the link to the press release:

This kind of pisses me off because I bought the PS3 version already and the developers said that they weren't going to do online because in fighting games it's all about timing and the timing would be off if it's online. I didn't know there was going to be a 360 version at the time and if there was I thought it would be the same story. Also I did notice a bit of lag in DOA online and even Street Fighter II for XBLA has about a 1 second lag and that's a 16 bit game. Now I'm going to end up having 2 versions of this game but I'm going to wait to hear what ppl are saying about the online on the 360 before I buy. If it does have lag then I won't buy it and stick to the PS3 version... then again... I am an achievement junkie. Maybe I'll just rent the 360 version... I'm so confused... :-/
