He was so young. A mere 8 months old, and already being taken from his father. We've had some great times. But alas, we are to be separated so early in our relationship. We've spent so much time together, yet I feel that we'd only begun to scratch the surface of who were are and what we truly meant to each other. As I think back fondly of our time together, I am not saddened. I cherish our memories, and I am hopeful that when we meet again it will be as if we were never apart. You will be made stronger by your journey, and will one day be returned to me renewed and full of life. And oh, how we shall play! But, until that day comes, I will not mourn. I will use this opportunity to spend more time with your older siblings. It pains me to admit that they have been so neglected since your arrival. But they have also been patient, almost as if they possessed the knowledge that this day would come sooner than I had hoped. I only hope that they understand why daddy didn't give them the amount of attention you received. At the very least, they should rest at ease in the fact that I kept them around for just such an occasion.

So, I'll just kick back, crack open a beer, play some old games I haven't finished, and wait for my 360 to come back to me. As Socrates so wisely said, "It can't rain all the time." No, wait, scratch that. That was from "The Crow." DAMN YOU, BRANDON LEE!!! It looks like your father's curse killed my boy, too.

Curious side note: I happened to look at the codes on the box my 360 came in, and I noticed something odd. I purchased it this past January with the Burnout pack-in. However, under the UPC sticker it says: "XBOX 360 PRO-PST LNCH BNDL." Since there were no pack-ins with the launch systems, and I bought it more than a year after launch, why would there be such a sticker on my box?
