The 360 moving more unites than the PS3 in North America is nothing new, but the something out of the ordinary transpired in Japan last week; the Xbox 360 out-sold the PS3!! The reason: Ace Combat 6. I know it sounds crazy, but here is a link from Joystiq.

With a number of 360-exclusive RPGs coming out in Japan in the near future, does anyone thing Microsoft can make a dent in the Japanese market? There was in article in Famitsu a few weeks ago stating the the 360 hardware was the second must likely product to sale in Japan over the holidays:

I thought it was bunk until seeing what Ace Combat 6 did for 360 sales. What do guys think?

Microsoft is slowly getting the Japanese to like the 360. Its not gonna be easy and frankly im surprised they've made as much progress as they have with the 360 considering that Japan was not trusting of it after the xbox.
