My 360 is coming back!
Well actually my 360 is dead forever. Microsoft is sending me a new one. I know this because on the repair agent page the serial number was changed... :(
However this COULD be a good thing. I read an article on teamxbox from Sep 28th that talks about people getting Xboxs back from Microsoft with new parts that apparently stop the RROD. Is it possible that I am getting one of the fabled "rrod cured" 360s? Well I wish...Anyways it will be arriving at about 5pm CST tonight so Ill finally be able to enjoy my 360 again. I just hope that I wont have to deal with the rrod after this.
Anyways I also wanted to say that Microsofts repair service is amazing. I know its because of the high failure rate, but they send you the box, you mail it to them and they get it back to you in less than 2 weeks. Pretty awesome...
