Allgames.com was hacked?! Nooooooo!

This sucks.

I was waiting for the archive of today's episode, checking out allgames.com as usual and noticed the site was looking rather strange. So I came on to twitter about a half hour ago and saw Bobby Blackwolf's latest twitter. I didn't know what was going on other then the fact that something had happened with allgames.com and I thought all the archives were gone. When I saw the front page of the ning site, I was very relieved to hear that all the shows stayed in tact.

But to hear that all of the descriptions have gone... That sucks. I know I can't really do anything besides say, "hey allgames, that sucks, best of luck getting the descriptions re-written," but I really do wish the best of luck to all of you. It may take a long time to re-do the descriptions, but allgames has a great community with some really great people, and I'm sure many will be willing to help restore the site to it's former glory.

I just wanted to make this post to tell everyone who contributes to allgames.com that we appreciate all your hard work and it really is a shame that someone hacked the website.

Well it was a random attack that has happened to a few other sites from what i can tell. So it wasn't someone specifically attacking AllGames. Best of luck Scot and Bobby!

I wonder, if the archives wasn't affected, what was? Did they want the info on Shop.allgames.com? The donation info? The location of Steve? What?
No matter what was affected, the perpetuators of this cyber attack must be found, and attacked physically. I have a baseball bat, and access to cyanide, don't ask how I have acces to a baseball bat.

This totally sucks. My sincerest sympathy's go out to Scot, Bobby and all those at Allgames that have suffered in this terrible situation. Best of luck with the rebuilding, recovery, re-emergence of the greatest gaming community site on the internet.
